The staff individually are personable. However, the problem appears to be in house, what should have been a quick, easy sale became a long, stressful situation. Communication between staff within departments takes far too long and was identified as a problem by staff themselves. I would not use this service again.

We are week 18 into buying a house. The solicitor working for Marchant Harris is employed by the seller which means unfortunately we are stuck in this situation until we decide to walk (which will probably be soon as my patience is wearing thin). She does not respond to our solicitor, the estate agents and she is obviously not doing her job, completely dragging out the process. The estate agent has informed us that they are having problems with the same solicitor for multiple properties at the moment. So for now, our life is completely on hold until she decides to get back to us... very poor service and I would avoid a house if the seller were using this solicitor in future. In all seriousness, I am writing this review out of pure frustration because I have no control of the situation. Buying a house is incredibly difficult and exhausting and having a solicitor who is crucial to the process that is simply not communicating with anyone, makes it even more tiresome and difficult to deal with. They are now under the GGP Law group, so maybe avoid them too.
