Booked a family birthday meal for eleven people. Had to pre-order and pay 10 per head deposit. I did this almost a week before the meal. When we arrived we were told that there were no herb potatoes. I would have expected a telephone call long before this. My wife ordered broccoli bake. When it arrived, it was like no broccoli bake we'd encountered before. When I asked for a drink I was told that I had to go to the bar because there was no table service for drinks because they were too busy. I genuinely thought they were joking because there were staff behind the bar doing, quite literally, nothing. When I settled the bill at the end I think there may have been some discount but there was no explanation or apology. It was a very disappointing experience altogether because I have had meals here in the past which have been very good. I am certainly not going back there and will not be recommending this place to anyone.
