Excellent food friendly staff nothing too much trouble

We went Into this cafe with our dog after having a walk on the beach. It was a rainy day so we were a little wet and soggy , however our dog was wearing a coat so was not too bad. The reason we chose this cafe was the reviews stating it was dog friendly. When we entered we asked if it was okay to come in just to make sure. We were met by a woman, the owner, who looked at us and then our dog and hesitated and said 'hmm I don't even let my dog in the kitchen at home, so I'm going to say no' ( because our dog was wet, she is a small dog who would easily fit under a table away from people). As we were leaving, she turned to her customers and said 'oh I'm harsh aren't I?'. We then had to turn back into the rain to find somewhere else! Very unhappy with the welcoming. Do not go in with a wet dog!
