Unfortunately twisted ankles here are in more priority than a child vomiting blood. Waited 3 hours just to get to the nurse to be triaged. Horrible place.

Absolute attitude from receptionist, unless your head is hanging from your body don't bother, she won't see it as important. Yet why do reception decide?

And I thought Prince Charles A &Ein Merthyr Tydfil were unskilled at triage, but Wishaw General A & E are worse. What sort of triage nurse leaves a 77 year old with Blood cancer who presented with possible septic knee joint, sitting for 6 hours and counting, when others are prioritised of him. Ageism , pure and simple. I have explained how ill he is and they don't care. Shocking

I think people forget that A&E is incredibly overflowing when there is very little staff. The NHS as we know it have too many patients and too little healthcare workers. I have only put 3 stars because the last time I was here, I was in excruciating pain and in tears at 3am, a woman called me through to take my obs, but because they were fine she said that there was nothing wrong with me. I was also told, Are you a victim of domestic violence? Because I cant see any reason for you being here other than you wanting out of the house. I think she was a receptionist rather than a doctor or nurse. I was too tired to defend myself, so just left
