We tried Gyropolis for the first time on Friday since we love greek food and it was one of the best we have had! The food was so fresh and tasty! The staff took the time to make sure we ordered exactly what we wanted and the customer service was superb. The greek soft drinks were a great touch too. This has now become one of our favourite places to eat and we will definitely travel to Wishaw again for it! Thank you for great food and service!

Disappointed after having been recommended to try. Souvlaki wrap was mostly vegetables with a small portion of chicken in it. The chips and cheese was palatable but the dish was ruined by the takeaways decision to place the chips in to the microwave to melt the cheese, giving the chips an overly soggy texture. The saving grace of the order was the tirokafteri which tasted good but it is advertised as spicy and didn't have even a hint of heat unfortunately. It was a miss for me and wouldn't order again. Update: Changing my review from a fair and warranted 3 stars to 1 star to reflect the level of customer service after a condescending and arrogant reply from the owner in response to my fair and constructive criticism. For 5.90 i have had a mixed gyro from Mactassos which was larger, had plentiful meat and tasted far better than the souvlaki wrap i had from Gyropolis. I'm sure the chips were made fresh as you say, that was never disputed, but i watched the server place them in the microwave after the cheese was added. As for the "chilli flakes" on the tirokafteri, there was a dusting of red powder on the cheese but no chilli flakes. I stand by my original opinion that there was no heat from the dish and my taste is just fine. Might i suggest that when responding to reviews that don't sing your praises that you be more professional in your wording.

Hopefully the people who own this place read this review, I hadnt tried food from here till last night, all I can say is I went back the next night because the food is AMAZING!!! You now have a new customer keep up the good work xxxx

Ordered for first time this evening as love greek food. However what I was given was disgusting. Processed pork which was tasteless, processed chicken and horrible greek kebab which resembled Donna meat in texture. Would never go here again. Also overpriced. Do yourself a favour and DO NOT order from here. If you know what Greek food actually tastes like will be VERY disappointed. Never again. Parking: Access
