A huge very well presented dorma type bungalow. The views are something else, either in glorious sunshine or howling winds (only our second day and we've had both). The place is equipped with everything you should need (it is for us), it's light, spacious and has a nice fresh feel. Since arriving here 16 hour's ago we've seen seals, deer, a hare, house martins, swallows and some crazy humans trying to fish from the rocks.

An extremely comfortable, cosy and very well maintained cottage. My family and I (4 of us) thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay here. But that's not all. Helensdale is also stunningly located. Surrounded by fields frequented by deer, overlooking a cove visited daily by seals, within close proximity to glorious beaches and within easy reach of places of interest- many of them historical. Elspeth, the owner, popped in once to make sure we were settled, but was never intrusive. I cannot recommend Helensdale enough!
