Ryanbay Holiday Park

Really nice holiday park next to Loch Ryan. We had caravan 27 which had lovely views of the Loch. The caravan was perfect for us as a couple but think if you had any more adults it would feel tight. Run by really helpful and friendly people. They have a small play park for kids and a little selection of animals. There is no shop/pub/restaurant on site but you could walk/drive to Stranraer which has everything you need. Not sure how long it would take to walk but its a 5/10 minute journey max in the car.

After having a chat with the site manager I decided to edit my initial review as it seemed unfair. Third party platforms are still advertising the site as having a bar and restaurant, which it does not, however, the site is lovely and the caravan was excellent, really comfortable bed, clean and spacious, the view of the loch is great. It is a good base but you definitely need transport, we had a peaceful weekend. I was premature with my first review and would like to thank Michael for his service.

Nice clean site lovely grounds (still getting re- developed ) will be worth it. Very accommodating staff laundry room brill toilet block clean & tidy.stunning sea views alpacas , goats, chickens on site very cute.. Easy to find site of the main road ... site Near shops ferry terminals would highly recommend. Hard stand full service available x3.water & hook ups all pitches. Weve enjoyed a chilled week
