As part of Logan Garden called in for lunch, and the first thing noted was the first cup of decent coffee in Galloway. So many cafes do weak or very milky coffee's, don't think any of them know what a flat white is. That was not the case here, proper Italian coffee, strong and hot. We had the haggis and cheese pannini which was crispy on the outside and still soft on the inside. One of us had the soup and she said it was really good. After walking round the gardens, we went back in. I tried the peanut and chocolate cake and it was very nice, not to nutty but not to chocolatie. The bourbon chocolate cake was a chocolate lovers dream. The staff were extremely friendly and we would recomend the bistro even if gardens are not your thing.

Always a pleasure to visit. Excellent food reasonably priced, fabulous setting, lovely staff. Don't know how many times we have visited but it's well into the 100's.
