        As a family of three, we went in with high expectations (we had an archaeologist with us), and it did not disappoint. We came to the Isle of Whithorn only for one night, so when we came to the museum and inquired about the roundhouse we were sad to be told that we had missed the last tour of the day. However, we pushed back our journey to make the earliest tour the next day at 11.30 and it was definitely worth it. Tour guide was helpful and clearly loved the roundhouse and telling its story, and was open to any questions we had. The roundhouse itself is a work of art, and they have clearly worked very hard to get it exactly right, it was very impressive. I'm sure we would love to go again if we came back :)
