Lack of professionalism. First impression was ok. Punctuality was perfect until he'd been paid. He mislead me about pricing too. Either that or he charges 140 labour for 30 minutes work. After fitting the extractor fan he required payment there and then - no invoice. After driving to an ATM to withdraw money, I paid him the 230 to be told that he can't give me a receipt but he would post one out the following week. He promised to return the following week to add a back-draft flap to the bathroom extractor he installed, to prevent cold air and potentially bugs entering. Two weeks later - no show. No receipt either. Over the following 4 weeks I text him 3 times to remind him and was told each time that he will do it the following week, except for the third time, after which he called me trying to make me feel guilty claiming to have already told me about his personal family emergency, which I believe to be fictitious. I was then told, again, he'd do it the following week. No show. I've given up. He never did return. I never received a receipt either. I suspected there was something odd about this electrition when he asked me to borrow one of my own tools while fitting the extractor.
