The Sewing Room

Handed in an item for a basic alteration and was advised I could collect it in a week. I collected it 2 days after the advised pick up date due to illness. On arrival the item had not been altered and the person serving me declared they didnt know what they had to do with it. I asked for a reason as to why no one got in contact with me and she said because she didnt know. This person offered no apology and took no responsibility and scoffed and tutted when I outlined the poor service. They handed me my things back and walked to the back of the shop. I am appalled at the failure to provide a service and then awful customer service and complete lack of care when the error had been made. I require this item to be altered for a work event and have to find alternative arrangements now. I would strongly advise against using this business. I have wasted my time; energy and had someone be incredibly rude to me. Severely let down and want to warn people before they take such a risk.
