Tried to get an end of tenancy cleaning for my rental in the Highlands. Sent a request through their website with no response after three days, gave them a call and told they would come back with a quote. No quote after four days waiting. Can't say the admin service is great at Merry Maids. Ended up going with another cleaning service.

We hired Merry Maids looking for a regular domestic clean which included one room being deep cleaned, once every two weeks. They came three times before we decided not to use them anymore. I was quite unimpressed with their cleaning. Even when they deep cleaned the room they did not hoover under the sofa or the bed or move decorations off the surfaces to clean properly. Overall a shoddy job and certainly not worth the extortionate price they have. Two cleaners that stayed less than two hours for 70 every two weeks. They also broke our toaster on the first visit and claimed they never touched it - when it was working perfectly just before they came. It was 20 so no biggie, however it felt very dishonest. We will certainly never hire them again. Services: Standard cleaning, Deep clean, General housekeeping
