Plockton, the fictional TV setting for Hamish McBeth is a truly wonderful isolated place in the remote west of the Highlands tha village is quite long end to end and the local amenities were superb especially, the meal I had in the Plockton inn, tiny narrow roads and streets, lovely views, I came accross this place after leaving a 3 day break on Skye and wasn't able to stay long with a 12 hour trip ahead of me. Suffice to say I will be back to actually stay in the village at some time and really takr time to explore it, super place.
