Fantastic authentic croft in an idyllic setting, we were here for just over 3 weeks and absolutely loved it. The hosts are on hand should you need anything, although we didnt as everything you need is there. Excellent if you have dogs, loads of nice walks, beaches and forest, and plenty of local amenities, good Wi-Fi and a comfy bed. Strongly recommend, we came away recharged and reset, which is exactly what we wanted.

Our stay here was absolutely fantastic, from the beginning Alasdair was very welcoming, professional but personable. Making sure we had everything we needed, a few hints and tips and leaving us to our own devices while letting us he was nearby if we ever needed anything. A local guide was also provided along with a note of local conveniences and recommendations. The lodge was easy to find, although Alasdair was also thoughtful enough to send detailed directions without being asked. On the initial approach of the lodge there's a winding single track road, however it's got a good number of passing places and we found all drivers safe and courteous. The lodge itself was clean, homely and warm. With stunning views of the Loch and only a short drive to a stunning beach which is worth a visit even in winter for the views. The Inverewe gardens are also worth a visit as a nice place to walk around and take in the sights. With a basic Sky setup in the lodge aswell as a small selection of DVDs/DVD player, you're set even if you want a quiet night in. Although honestly we spent most of our time exploring the local area. We found Gairloch to be the most convenient place to stock up and also browse for souveneirs. The tourist center is a great local asset too that offers food, well worth a visit. Overall highly recommended, everything we hoped for and more. We'll likely be visiting again in the future!

Amazing hosts, lovely accommodation. Stunning views and a lovely wee pebble beach within a short walk. The cottage has a large conservatory with incredible views. The kitchen had everything we needed, with the exception on food. The hosts even left a lovely bottle of red! We had to cut our stay short due to illness and our hosts couldn't have been more caring and understanding. One thing to watch is some of the rooms have fairly low door openings and the eaves in a upper the rooms make navigating into bed tricky. The stairs are a wee bit narrow for some. It's all part I the charm of the place! We, and our teenage kids loved it. We definitely want to stay in Coille Bheag again.
