Reviewing after our third time stayint at Leckmelm Holiday Cottages. Wonderfully brilliant self-catering accommodation. Let's get it out there right now - the location is the star of the show. And what a location!!! We stayed in Lochside Cottage Number 3, which lies seconds away from the waters of Loch Broom. Seconds! If being mere metres from the shore of a beautiful Loch, which is home to seals and porpoises and the setting for sumptuous sunsets isn't enough, then perhaps you'll be pleased to read that the team are excellent hosts who have made a wonderful home from home with everything you'll need for a peaceful, comfortable stay. Book this place for your North West Highlands self-catering accommodation - we don't think you'll be anything other than delighted!! We've been back and are booked in again two more times in the coming months. Beautiful accommodation in a stunning part of the world.

Not been here since 2006 when I introduced my wife to Nirvana. I spent the late 1980's and all the 1990's here several times a year hill walking with my late father. All 620 miles each way from London. Wow, it was so good to be back with our two dogs. Somethings have changed, the new, for us, access road down to the loch and this NC500!. But little else. The very friendly welcome, the views, the views, the views, and the accommodation. The proof is the number of guests returning every year, one couple every year for the last 40 and one family who apparently were here in July. So lovely to return and yet again so hard to leave. Big thank you.
