We didn't actually have an official tour but we happened to be walking past the shed in the off-season and Colin invited us in for a chat. He was incredibly friendly and took great pride in showing off all his collection of various antlers and bones from different animals he'd encountered in the area. He showed great interest in us as people too, asking all about where we're from and what we'd been up to on our holiday so far. One of his "friendly" stags showed up while we were chatting and he let us feed him some carrots and snap some photos. I have no doubt his official tours are excellent!

Stumbled upon this gem after talking to the owner of this truck( Colin) Extremely knowledgable and friendly, Colin offers tours which can be arranged through his Facebook page. He has several red deer which is spilt between tame and wild herds. If your looking to get up close with red deer in Scotland with an experienced guide then Colin is your man. The price is set per tour regardless if its 1 or 6 people (pre Covid numbers)
