Rechullin

Our family of five loved our week at Rechullin. Its in an amazing location - not many houses where you can spot otters from the bedroom window - and has everything you need for a great holiday among some of the best scenery the UK has to offer. Donald is a great host and provides detailed information to help you make the most of your visit. It is remote so it pays to be prepared - do a large shop before you arrive! We took Donalds advice and ate in a couple of local pubs, which were great. We had hoped to climb some of the Munroes but the weather was mixed so we stayed low, and took advantage of the loch side location to use our paddleboard, swim and walk locally. The excellent back garden pitch and putt course was an added bonus! Final word: This is a remote highland rental. Its warm, cosy, clean and homely (and interesting). Dont expect something from an interiors magazine. It has everything you need without any pretension. We couldnt fault it.

My husband and I spent a lovely week in September at Rechullin. It really is one of the nicest spots on the West Coast. The views are spectacular. The weather was kind to us and we even had a swim in the sea which is right on our doorstep.Great for walking and cycling. My husband played golf on the wonderful little course next to the house which is free for guests. Well worth playing. The house is clean and cozy with all the facilities you could hope for. There was plenty of choice for eating out at night. We will definitely be back next year
