We had a lovely week long stay at Croft House with fantastic weather which was a bonus! The location can not be faulted with superb views from all rooms over the bay. It was difficult to not be mesmerised by the view at all hours of the day. You get to spot seals, sea birds and dolphins and the house provides a telescope in the lounge. Lounge has a wood burner for chillier nights with plentiful logs provided. Huge well equipped dining kitchen with large fridge freezer, radio, microwave, lots of crockery and glasses. Comfortable seating for six. Bedrooms are spacious with twin and double upstairs and the double on the ground floor has a comfy bed, drawers and hanging space. Upstairs rooms are a bit smaller with more limited clothes storage but all come with quality soft furnishings and furniture. The house has two bathrooms which is useful, downstairs with walk in shower and a bath upstairs. House would be suitable for someone who is mobility impaired with downstairs bedroom and bathroom. Garden is south-facing with fabulous views; gravel driveway for one car; a second car could park in front of the gate. There is a lawn and upper garden with clothes line. One outdoor picnic table is provided next to a bubbling burn which was very relaxing for outdoor meals and drinks. Gairloch is small but a great base for exploring the beautiful Highlands. The local beach is a 5 min drive or 15 minute cycle with some hills. Other lovely beaches such as big sand about 10 mins drive. Small shop for basic essentials, butchers with fresh food, chippy and cafe all within 6-10min walk. WiFi is provided although it had a tendancy to drop out and the hub needed reset a few times. Lounge had a small tv with about 15 channels and a dvd player. House provided plenty of cleaning products and was spotless on arrival. I'm missing the views already and we will definitely make a return visit!

Great cottage. Has WiFi. Fully stocked kitchen big fridge. 10 minute walk to twin for groceries. Comfy beds. Lots of wood for log burning fire. Electric heaters for upstairs. TV, board games and music dock. Could do with a TV in bedrooms for late night films. Showers were great and spacious rooms. Great views. Side note not many pubs open during winter months. The shrilling is open but doesn't allow dogs. The golf club has a bar in it open till late and the hotel in the village is open until late.
