Rooms: Schlechtes Licht, fehlende WC-Brste, zerknlltes Kopfkissen. Food & drinks: Wein war nicht guet, zudem wurde zum Rotwein Weissweinglser aufgetischt. Einschenken musste man selber so wie das Besteck fr die Vorspeise verteilen. Das fine ich fr ein 4*Hotel nicht korrekt (sonst wrde dies mich nicht stren). Zudem wurde das fleisch nicht medium, sondern well done serviert. / Das Frhstck war in Ordnung.

When we got there, the reception was friendly and we wanted to pay for the two rooms right away. But the lady at the reception wanted to charge us more than double. We complained and showed her the price from Booking's booking confirmation. She said correct my mistake etc. but from then on we were treated differently. It took 10 minutes for us to be served at the bar (the two bar staff had looked at us several times/ had time). The same at dinner, after that we had to leave the restaurant and wanted to drink another whiskey in the bar, but we weren't served there either. All in all an unsatisfactory service - performance for a "4* hotel". In addition, the cleanliness in the rooms should be better for this hotel level. Dinner was good but not very good. Haben ber Booking zwei Zimmer gebucht und sind zum Hotel gefahren. Dort angekommen war der Empfang freundlich und wir wollten gleich die beiden Zimmer bezahlen. Doch die Dame an der Rezeption wollte uns mehr als das doppelte verrechnen. Wir haben reklamiert und ihr den Preis von der Buchungsbesttigung von Booking gezeigt. Sie sagte, stimmt mein Fehler usw. doch von da an waren wurden wir anders behandelt. Bis wir an der Bar bedient wurden dauerte es 10 Minuten (die beiden Bar-Mitarbeiterinnen hatten uns mehrmals angeschaut/ hatten Zeit). Beim Abendessen dasselbe, danach mussten wir das Restaurant verlassen und wollten noch ein Whisky in der Bar konsumieren, doch auch da wurden wir nicht bedient. Alles in allem eine ungengende Service - Leistung fr ein "4* Hotel". Zudem kommt noch dazu, dass die Sauberkeit in den Zimmern besser sein msste fr dieses Hotel Level. Das Abendessen war gut, aber nicht sehr gut. Haben in drei Sterne Hotels schon viel besser gegessen. Frhstck war einfach und gut.

Didn't stay here so cannot comment on the rooms, but ate in the restaurant. We waited 40 minutes on our meals and were very disappointed with them. My partner had the chicken dish which was dry and definitely not worth twenty quid! I ordered fish and chips. Tartar sauce was nice, fish tasted okay, but nothing special...Still bits of silver skin on it in places and the chips were awful. They looked and tasted like oven chips. For the money we paid for both dishes, I was expecting something made with a bit more effort. Waiting staff were very nice though and the hotel is in a beautiful spot. Food & drinks: Wine was nice, food was not.
