Ivy Cottage Strathpeffer

We have just completed our second stay here and had a totally wonderful time. Our trip was timed to coincide with lambing at the cottage. I can't recommend it enough, if you are a bit of a Dr. Dolittle like myself. I managed to fulfil a couple of bucket list items (bottle feeding lambs and seeing them actually being born ). The cottage is spotlessly clean, warm and welcoming and the beauty of the surrounding area is outstanding. The owner, Angus is so hospitable and has a huge knowledge of the area. Always on hand to recommend a beautiful drive out or somewhere to buy great local produce or grab a bite to eat. I am already booked for visit number 3. Can't recommend Ivy Cottage enough.

Great cottage and base location for the Highlands. Angus & Fiona were superb and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as good as it could be. The cottage is kitted out with everything you need and the dcor and is nice and the place is immaculate. We tend to spend a fair bit of time in the north and we will definitely be back. P.s the snow was quite bad but it made a lovely setting for the break and Angus was determined to get us up the steep hills if we needed help. The log burner was a great addition in the cold and snowy conditions.
