        Just went to the walkers car park. Was busy on a bank holiday but enough spaces for ~10 cars. Plenty of other lay-bys not far up the main road. The gardens looked very interesting as we walked past.

        We came here last week as part of our NC500 trip. The lady selling the tickets was lovely and really informative. We had the gardens pretty much to ourselves when we went and it was lovely and quiet. Well managed and especially enjoyed the greenhouse! We used the DIY cafe which I loved! Good prices, We tried the ice cream and the homemade sandwiches which were absolutely delicious! If possible, it would be good to have bins around the garden. My only thought was we were walking around enjoying our sandwiches and ice cream and couldnt find a bin so had to carry them the whole way around until we ended back at the house. Apart from that I would hugely recommend it!

        Beautiful autumnal visit. Really friendly helpful staff. Fairy and halloween trails were such fun even for adults. Loved the Japanese garden. Dog-friendliness: Dogs allowed on short leash. Env friendly poo bags and bin
