        What a wonderful little treasure trove, so unexpected. Everything you need, and some lovely extras (the meat in particular!). And a Post Office with more flexibility than anything near me in London. Lovely ladies, happy to chat and share info on the local area.

        Arrived in Poolewe for a weeks holiday and went into the local shop for provision,s on the 1st day(like to buy local whenever on holiday)after getting our shopping and went to pay I must say the women behind the counter was not welcoming and very hostile and rude and not very helpful Needless to say never went back and shopped elsewhere for the rest of the week including Tuesday Market@Poolewe and the farm shop and Mcolls in Gairloch which I can say are very welcoming
