        Angela ,the owner , called us before our arrival not just to check our eta but to advise us that the area was SO busy with tourists that she would book us into the local pub to ensure we got a meal.we agreed, and thanked her endlessly next morning at breakfast, as through out our meal n after drinks, there was a constant flow of people wanting food, but they were fully booked. Thanks again Angela. Big lesson throughout our 10 days travelling in Scotland.always book for dinner!!!! Angela also told us what time the castle lit up at night, probably the most awesome ,tranquil , experience ever. Imagine.. complete quiet, almost dark, not a soul around, still waters, huge majestic mountains.. at one with the illuminated wonder. Bliss! EVERYONE HAS TO STAY IN DORNIE

        Really nice place to stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The service was excellent, Angela could not have made us more welcome. Breakfast was very nice and freshly cooked. Highly recommended.
