A remote set of 3 bungalows which are modern with lots of space. I had the middle one which had a beautiful sun room overlooking the fields. The location is superb ....away from everywhere but so close to Orkney's main archeological sites incl Skara Brae, Stenness, Maeshowe etc. and beautiful cliffs and beaches. Ideal for families with children but also couples who are looking for peace and quiet....for those into beer ...the brewery is a 5 min walk away with a restaurant and guided tours but if you stay here you would never know it's there. The cottages have under floor heating, washer and dryers and everything one needs for a comfortable stay including good mattresses

Beautiful, comfortable, well-equipped, spacious,... Everything you could hope for in a holiday house. We stayed at the larger of the three houses, Gairsty, which has a sun lounge on the end and one or two other extras such as a large American fridge-freezer with ice and cold water on tap. I've not stayed in a better holiday let. It's wonderfully calming sitting in the sun lounge looking out on the surrounding landscape as the sun goes down and the moon rises. Lots of space outside for children to play in too. A warm welcome from the owner when we arrived and the welcome basket is a nice touch, including some local (2 minutes away) beer from the Orkney Brewery. Obviously lots of interesting things to do on Orkney, none of them very far away. Unreservedly recommended.
