Great views of red-throated diver from the hide. The road from Evie to Dounby is also good for raptors - we saw a hen harrier without having to camp out for hours.

We saw 4 red-throated divers at once on the lake. Also a hen-harrier flew by and was attacked by lapwings. Really an amazing stay at the hide.

Loved it, didn't see much as heavy snow suddenly came over, but location is great and the hide perfect for spotting and watching. Easy to get to as well, only few metres from the car park. The wind turbines add a quite eerie but aesthetic element to the experience.
