Sue gave us a great tour at the mill! She is so knowledgable about the milling process and the history of the mill. If you are interested to learn about the ingenuity of the victorian millers you must stop by. We learned all about Bere and even got the chance to try Bere scones and homemade cheese. Delicious!!

This review is not over the mill or tour, as unfortunately we did not get to do it this trip. The shop has a selection of their items. The location and tour looks interesting and hope to do it sometime in the future. The shop is worth a stop.

Working mill during winter therefore closed. Opens in the summer for guided tours. Which are short but very informative. Worth it the visit

This was an amazing experience, the Talk was very interesting and the millers very accommodating. Learned a lot about the history of the mill and how the flour is still made today but only in the winter years. Would definitely recommend this tour if you visit Orkney. The beremeal flour is very tasty. We have just bought the oatmeal flakes and beremeal flakes to make porridge. Mmmmm cant wait to taste it. Thanks again to Kenny and Alistair for a wonderful tour. Best wishes Rae and Duncan.
