Short steep walk but with great views of the local village and surrounding hills. Small parking at the bottom as well. Worth a wee visit

There is not a lot left of Dunnideer Fort, mainly just one wall and some foundations, but this ruin still dominates the surrounding courtyside. For us the main attraction was the steepish walk up from Western Road, and then the views towards Insch. The signpost to the start of the path is small and can be easily missed, parking is on the side of the road.
