Clovenstone Lodges

Safety: Very safe environment and the tub was easily sectioned off from guests...when not in use covered at all times....no one overlooked anyone else....an outside barbicue was an easy lunch or dinner...Kintore had great choice of shops for food and restaurants etc Walkability: Lots of walking trips, either short or more adventurous. We took kite which was such fun as we had access to a couple of fields next to the lodges.

This place was absolutely amazing - it cant be faulted at all. My and my partner are just back from a 2 night stay in the Mither Tap lodge and it was stunning (21st to the 23rd of August). We let Graham know our ETA travelling up from Glasgow and the hot tub was pre-heated upon arrival. Its such a great place for dogs too as they arent restricted as theres nothing around (apart from farmland) which suited my border collie to the letter. The 3 hour journey to the lodge was well worth it and Graham has thought of everything you could possibly need for a wonderful stay. As we were leaving Graham was showing my partner the newest couple lodge which well definitely be heading back to soon!

Location good very private bbq area ++ Hot tub was lovely even on the wetter days Spotlessly clean inside A teapot would be welcome addition to kitchen area . Once the kids pod is ready that will be great for families An awning if possible would be good idea for our inclement weather Mind your head when entering bathroom just a tip as I kept forgetting to duck! Absolutely recommend. a stay in Oxen Craig
