        Our weekend getaway at Leslie castle was perfect. The hosts were really welcoming, they got us settled in to our gorgeous tower room with views across the valley. Dinner was a grand affair, I was a little apprehensive about what I'd be getting to eat as a vegan turning up for a meal which is advertised as having not so much as a veggie option, but I need not have worried the Baron had me sorted. The starters, mains and desserts both nights of our stay had vegan options, were tasty and varied. After dinner the storytelling about the castle's history was fascinating from the Baroness The rooms were worth the fee alone since where else do you see proper working bathrooms and electronics up the top of a centuries old castle, the most surreal netflix watching spot for sure. We'll be back I hope and we'll definitely be recommending it to others for a short break.
