They won't tell you that they charge 50 even if they cannot do a repair. Also, they wont tell you that 95% of the off brand machines they see can't be repaired - until after the fact. But after speaking to them, it seems that week-in week-out they see - and charge - customers with off brand welders that cant be repaired by them. Each time, they know that they as a company almost certainly cant do the repair. But 50 is 50, but they wont tell you that until after they can charge you. Is it too much to ask for a little customer service - How about something along the lines of "I see you have an off brand welder. 9/10 welders that we see like this cannot be repaired by us. But even if we can't repair it there will still be a 50 fee. Do you want to go ahead and get us to take a look at it?" Hell, I might have agreed but at least I would have been able to make an informed decision. As it stands, it feels like they are a bit dishonest.
