Pathetic you have to ring first thing in the morning to get an appointment to speak to a doctor. Now if you want physiotherapy you have to self refer.Doctors are getting lazy you have to practically beg them to send you for an xray.Take me back to the 60s when doctors were doctors not like today.Appauling they couldn't care less and getting paid for nothing.

Went via a doctor saying to go and was told by receptionist i could come down after i phoned them at viewpark i have waited 3 weeks nearly to get a dressing for my ulcerated leg i have below knee amputation went to reception desk and politely said a receptionist agreed i could come down to collect dressings from nurse i was a carer and was an excellent carer and have thank you cards from ex service users and as i said to receptionist her attitude was appauling she said firstly i couldnt get dressings and i said politely ive been told to come down then she changed said i cant get dressings need to see nurse earliest appointment was 5 days away i told her ive been dressings this leg for 36yrs and dont need a nurse to dress it quite capable after spending 10 months in canniesburn seeing my leg dressed i have poor skin through a,steelworks injury and extensive skin grafting in area thats ulcerated i have already lost lower part of leg and certainly dont want to lose full leg through ulcer getting worse had no dressing on it for 3 weeks so you can understand my fear and desperation to get dressings then she turned on me saying i have never been in this health centre that is totally untrue been 3 times for physio before i lost leg and twice for bloods i asked her to phone my doc to confirm he told me to go she refused said your not getting dressings i phone my doc receptionist asked her to talk to her again she refused told me ME I HAD A BAD attitude where she was one calling off i in turn responded as i wasnt being talked to like that even doctors came out it was so heated over just wanting a dressing for my wound i dont abuse NHS at all even after amputation was out of hospital 3 days later i was astounded by her attitude and have sent a report to complaints dept regarding this and reported it to medical council i will be chasing this up want it investigated as its a serious matter regarding my health i have prediabetes so ulcers are prone to happen in all the 36yrs ive attended practices i have never been abusive to any staff and have a track record where i can prove it in my opinion this person should never be in this job as reviews in past have stated they are disinterested in patients and very hostile i will be making sure those involved are investigated i even proved to her i have an artificial leg never ever have i had this reception i now wouldnt step near this joke and hostile practice ever again but will be making sure those involved are investigated she wouldnt give me her name in my opinion because she is one everyone is talking about if it has to go to an enquiry court more than happy to attend these people need to be escorted out the NHS

If I have ever needed help urgently they have been amazing. I find the staff kind and considerate and very efficient at their job. I have been with them 30 years and can only sing their praises. They have a 4minute window to see us. That's not their fault. Yet, I have never felt rushed in any way.
