        We went there to book a room and were given a frosty reception by the man who owns it, even though we were very friendly and cheerful. His vibe made us unsure of whether to stay as he was rude to us from the onset. Then, after about 30 seconds of my wife and I discussing privately whether we wanted the room, he said "actually if there's doubt then I retract my offer, I don't want you staying here" and he ushered us out and closed the door in our faces! I don't usually leave bad reviews but this definitely deserves one! I would give 0 stars if I could.

        Booked a one night stay expecting breakfast ,as it states it is a b&b but found out when we arrived breakfast was not an option

        Absolutely delighted to have found and stayed here. Beautiful character accommodation and views over the breakfast table you would not believe. The Calder's put you at ease and the beds are so very comfortable. I can't wait to go back
