Lovely wee shop. Went in just to browse when I was heading out of town and ended up finding some lovely treats for myself. The person in the shop (I assume the owner) was really friendly and helpful.

Went to call in for a special gift card in this shop. The door was pinned open and noticed there was a customer being served at the counter, so masked up, stepped in to sanitise my hands, when the woman behind the counter said "excuse me, can you kindly wait outside". I apologised saying I thought it was two people only at a time in the shop to which she replied, "no one only". Could not see anything written to that effect. Whilst waiting for 5 mins, another woman came from behind me, put a mask on, walked in the shop and proceeded to browse. The lady behind the counter continued to serve the original counter and never said a word to the woman who passed me and by which time, was waiting in a queue to be served. I thought, the woman serving, would have the decency of saying"excuse me but this lady was waiting first", indicating me, but no, gaily served the other woman. Disgusted with her one rule for one and one rule for others, I gave up on giving them any trade. Traders also, need to be aware of the customers if they choose to serve one at a time. Went to another little shop on the town front where I got a much friendlier assistant who was more courteous and helpful and where I ended up spending 75 on gifts as well as my card.

Beautiful wee shop filled to the brim with handmade Scottish art pieces. Best to give yourself plenty of time to pick out just the right unique gifts for friends and family.
