Ceol Na Mara

We just stopped by in Ullapool for a short while. We were on the way up north and stopped here for lunch, some groceries and a walk. Then we came by this place. Looked very nice and inviting. Just had little time, but bought some caps, some warm hats and a scarf. Staff/owner was friendly and helpful. Prices very fair and the products of good quality. Use the items regularly and I enjoy them very much. Nice little place to do some shopping.

Avoid! Woman employed at taking inventory of fudge literally shouted at one of our party when he approached the fudge display. She wouldn't let him take any to buy. He waited nearby in hopes she would soon be finished, but she kept leaving the display and as the rest of us were shopping she shouted at 2 more lots of customers. We put the other item we'd hoped to buy back on the shelf and left the shop. Now upon reading the reviews we see this appears to be a common occurrence and that the "owner" keeps responding in support of poor quality of customer service. Pity, because it's a well appointed shop with some lovely items.

Excellent little find! Staff were lovely, was a shame that theyve had so many rude customers and people. Very reasonable and were very lovely to us and everyone else. Bought a little sheep puppet and love it. Thanks guys

bought a woolen vest for 126. 2 scarves for 40 and more little souvenirs. got at the campsite and tried the jacket on. wind went right true it. thought it was a warm woolen vest. went back the day after, even the tickets where still on the jacket. i said i wanted to return the vest and 2 rude old women behind the counter start screaming there is no refund.thats policy!! is the only thing they keep screaming. you better skipp this shop, there are other good places around in Ullapool. for the ladies behind the counter, i hope your gums will itch like hell for the rest of your days.

Good selection of gifts but be careful that staff may forget to put all items in your bag when you checkout.
