We spent one night at the B&B Foinaven and would absolutely not recommend the accommodation. We did not feel welcome at all and were approached very harshly by the owner in the morning during breakfast "delivery" because we had apparently used too much hot water in the shower. She even called us "disrespectful", which we feel is an absolutely inappropriate way to treat customers. But we had paid in advance, otherwise she probably would have behaved differently. Even if we had used too much water (which we did not), it could have been said differently or informed in advance that you are only allowed to use a limited amount of water. In our four weeks in all over Scotland with numerous B&B stays, this was the only accommodation that left a really bitter aftertaste. Two stars for appearance of the room and cleanliness.
