This is a well appointed bunk house, with a mixture of rooms with single beds. Each bed has its own double socket and USB charger. Staying on the first floor there were two showers toilet rooms, with plenty of hot water. The kitchen and dining area, whilst large are unable to fully cope if everyone wishes to cook/eat at the same time. There is an outside area which is in sun until early evening which is great for BBQ-ing (own BBQ used). The bike storage is well laid out and the bike cleaning area is brilliant with 3 cleaning stations with a bike stand.
Location.
Both Peebles and Innerleithen are easily access by bike along the old railway line which is now a cycle path.
Negatives.
Whilst serious money has been spent upgrading the bunkhouse, the door closing mechanism need work as the doors slam shut waking up the whole house.
