Great place to hike, camp and swim in Loch Eddie. Lots of unspoiled land to explore and try wild camping in. Free access under Scottish law, except in the area around the nineteenth century castle. Just watch out for the grumpy caretaker who goes by name the name of Bill Adolph Staempfli and, like Filch in Harry Potter, doesn't like people. Apart from him, the locals seem to be very friendly.
