Thanks so much - so easily booked and perfect communication. Taxi arrived for airport run promptly - driver extremely pleasant and very comfortable drive. Much appreciated and would highly recommend.

Mike and ACE taxis have been more than helpful. He was very accommodating in providing a return trip from Edinburgh to Melrose for 6 people. Not only providing a friendly service, a reasonable price, his communication was excellent and he went above and beyond to return belongings that was left in the taxi.

Do NOT use this company. Staff are rude and useless. Taxi didn't show up, first person hung up on me when asking where the taxi is. His excuse "I've just started mate". Then didn't pick up anymore of my calls. When I finally got through to someone. They had me booked in an hour later than I requested. Then told me there is nothing they can do. Perhaps if they could tell the time correctly, I wouldn't be in this situation. Worst taxi service in the Borders. Probably in Scotland. Save your money, time and sanity. You'll lose all three with these guys. Reply: Why would I ask for the taxi at 12 when I start at 11?! Really!? So everyone at your company can't tell the time! Isn't it possilbe that the driver just marked down the wrong time. It's never your fault, always someone else's. The driver even repeated the time to me when making the booking. I would of corrected him if it was wrong. Don't you think?? Also, really didn't appreciate you texting my personal mobile after all this happened. This is very unprofessional and you should of left it where it was, not make the situation any worse. I do admit I did use offensive language to the driver but this was only after I was hung up on, ignored and then called a liar and therefore making me late for work. I have the most respect for people trying to make a living, as I do the same. Perhaps you should focus on your conduct in the future and not throw your toys out the pram and contacting me on my mobile expressing how upset you are. Its like a child having a tantrum.

I wish I could choose 10 stars! If you are in the Scottish boarders look no further than ACE taxi cabs. I had emailed for a quote request ahead of my trip. Not only was Mike the most responsive of all the companies I wrote to, he quoted me the best price. Then the day-of my trip I literally could not have wished for a better experience! I was headed to the boarders from NYC, by myself, to investigate some family history/land in a pretty remote area. Not only was Mike on time, but he showed me other local sights on the way to where my family's land was so that I could learn more about the area. We ended up spending the afternoon together as he pointed out local vistas and history, ended up climbing up a huge steep hill/mountain on top of a crag to get to my family's building (it took us 30 min straight up in the rain!). I mean what an incredible, above and beyond experience! Mike/Ace gave me an experience I will treasure and remember for the rest of my life. Book your car with Ace and have a great time!
