        About half an hour walk from gight woods carpark. Lovely walk through nature to a nice historical ruin.

        Like the previous reviewer said, follow the google directions to Gight Car Park, not directly here. From the carpark go through the obvious gate and the castle isn't far. I do love a good ruin! The sign says enter at your own risk and it is a bit hairy in places but well worth a snoop inside if like me you like that sort of thing! It is possible to climb up inside for a view across the fields but be careful! It's a bit sketchy navigating the rubble and it's done well to survive the recent devastating storms we've had over the last couple of years
