This place is not even worth the 1 star rating. After my loved one died I believe they use the Liverpool Care Pathway. It is not a place to live it is a place to die. Where loved ones cant get anything to eat or dirnk. Even the meds are stopped and they call this care. If you raise a concern they just sweep it under the carpet. POOR SERVICE. POORER STAFF. This place should be avoided. Better still avoid Abredeenshire, its hell on earth.

This is an example of the food you will get served. During you stay. Other things you can expect is to be lied to and if you take stuff up to the care home for a loved one dont think they always get what you take up. I have seen stuff a took up to the home in the office for 6 weeks. Just another example of how the care home is run. If you need further information just check out the care inspectorate reports which they have online. Staff may change but your loved ones details will be discussed with total strangers. I found that out the hard way . The staff need to be careful who they talk too Macduff is a very small place and will get back to the son of the loved one.

The only reason i havent given 5 is because due to the pandemic i have not been able to visit. I live 500 miles away but nothing is too much trouble for any of the ladies i have dealt with. My dad is looked after well and is always praising the care he is recieving. He is fed well and communication between the home and myself is great. They have supported not only my Dad but myself also. I would not hesitate to recommend them. Thanks guys for all you do. As a family we really appreciate it.

The care home is poorly run. However, there are some staff who do try, but the manager does not treat family members with any respect and is a waste of time going to, if you have any problems. Always ask that you change any review you place on the internet.. Staff will give you wrong information, stuff in rooms often goes missing and are still going missing.
