Lochend Chalets

My son booked us in for two nights to take advantage of the fantastic trout fishing available on the lake. A "special" birthday treat, that didn't disappoint. The Lake itself is a wonderful place to be, whether catching fish, or not (we did!) The accommodation was top notch, and Chris was very friendly, flexible to our needs and welcoming. Nearby activities: Lake fishing, bucket list moment

We have had a wonderful stay in Osprey. Whilst it sleeps 6 we were a couple and it was truly marvellous. The bed so comfy, bath and shower to die for. We have travelled the world and stayed in amazing places but it is hard to beat the shower here! Views to die for. We brought our Canadian canoe and paddled from the door. We also brought our bikes and there is some great cycling in the area on and off road. The national park have really sorted out great cycling routes and oh not to forget the walking too. All of that aside sitting curled up on the sofa in a lovely warm luxurious chalet with a good book and watching the changing scenery is a must. Having Nicks restaurant a 2 minute walk away was a real bonus and the food and service are great. We ate lunch and dinner, both excellent. The family who own and look after the site are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Would we come back absolutely and would have no hesitation in recommending to others. Thank you for a truly memorable stay.
