This place is stunning and the perfect place for wild camping (with a permit). Access is easy, the views are stunning and the walks are great. The one issue I had was not against the drive itself but the previous occupants of the location we booked at. There was an old tent and rubbish left behind which totaly ruins the idea of a place like this. It was evident the items had been there a while so it was a shame the rangers hadn't yet cleaned up this mess. We ended up taking the rubbish with us to dispose of it to prevent the next people having to deal with it. We left the tent and larger items as we didn't have space. The trip was great and I would definitely go again. Just a shame about the rubbish. Dog-friendliness: Dog friendly, just pick up after your dog and dispose of it properly.

Wonderful place to spend the night. Our spot was in the middle of the forest quiet peaceful and safe.
