Easter visit. Part of the Woodland Trust the visitor centre here will give you a chance to study the local sightings board, find out about the unique flora and fauna of the area including red squirrel and black grouse, and to study the map of the various trails which are colour coded and well signposted, and view points. Onsite parking is free, there's a picnic area, and toilets at the visitor centre. I literally took the short, steep walk up to the closest viewpoint. I'd have loved to explore more, but I wasn't able to today.
