Scott Cottage

Really nice stay and we had a great holiday there. The house is located in a very quiet location next to the beautiful loch Katrine. The owner has put a lot of effort in to making the house comfortable and installed some high quality kitchen and laundry equipment. There are a lot of activities in the surrounding areas suitable for families (including mountain biking through the forest from Aberfoyle and the three lochs forest drive) Hope to be able to go back again and stay another week soon!

We had an absolutely lovely week at Scott Cottage; it was everything we needed for a relaxing week away with the children. The cottage is beautifully decorated, a lovely size, very comfortable, and super-equipped if you want to cook. Also brilliant for us that we could bring the dog. The location is wonderful; stunning views, incredibly peaceful, and the newly-opened Pier Cafe is a real bonus - great food, lovely staff, dog-friendly. Midges were not much of an issue in May

We stayed for a week in September 2021 and we cannot wait to return to this place. The location really is quite spectacular, with views out the windows through the trees to the loch, which changes daily, from misty and moody to sparkling in the sunshine. It is remote and peaceful. The property is part of what used to be a grand hotel on the Victorian tourist route, and the superior standardof the decoration, furnishing, fittings and grand dimensions gives it that feeling of luxury. Lots of history and lovely places to visit.
