The girl with the red hair and the guy with the English accent have been nothing but kind, knowledgeable and helpful to me since I started fish keeping a year ago. Always have tip top advice for me and cant recommend the shop enough.

It seems to depend on who serves you, if you're getting the right info or not. I've spoken to Neil many times and he has always been a great help and seems to know his stuff. But at the start of Dec, I went in to get some fish and the manager showed me a particular kind. I told her my tank size/the fish i already have and she confirmed they would be fine with them. A month later and they still hadn't seemed to settle, all my other fish were hiding from them and they were attacking my fish and each other (1 fish has died) spoke to a man at the fishkeeper coatbridge store about them and he said my tank was wrong for these new fish. my temp is around 25, but advised these new fish shouldnt be kept over 20 as they are temperate. Having checked with other fish keepers and done some more online research my tank was also too small for them and i should have gotten more than what i was recommended to get. So i have had to rehome them and then replace them with something else, so its been quite expensive. I know in fish keeping there can be different opinions and sometimes its trial and error, but when its something like this and even the other store has confirmed it, you would expect all stores to be on the same page.
