Derek photographed our wedding at Glenapp recently. Weve just had the photos back and they are absolutely amazing! First class service, went above and beyond the whole day and made us all feel so comfortable. Great photographer and all round great guy. Could not recommend highly enough!

Derek was really friendly and quickly made my partner and I feel relaxed. We were so happy with our pictures and have now booked Derek for our wedding in 2022. Feel confident that he will capture our day perfectly! Update after wedding: Derek is a brilliant photographer and makes sure you feel confident in front of the camera. He was professional but totally down to earth and our wedding pictures are exactly what we hoped for. Derek truly cares about capturing every part of your day and any requests you have, he does his best to capture them. I would recommend Derek to anyone looking for a fantastic photographer.

Derek stepped in two days before our wedding and I cant recommend him enough!! We felt as if we had known him for ages because of how relaxed and comfortable he made us feel on our big day. We really arent fans of being in front of the camera but with him, it felt normal. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Derek for a wedding or special event! Thanks again Derek! Claire and Stewart

Derek is an absolutely fantastic photographer! We've had such an amazing time with him shooting our wedding. He got excellent photos, both staged and candid. This meant that we got our favourite moments captured as well as important family photos. I'll (hopefully) never need another wedding photographer but Derek will be who I recommend if anyone asks!

Derek was the perfect mix of professional, competent and a really nice, friendly man. We live abroad so Derek arranged a couple of Zoom calls just so we could get familiar with each other, have our questions answered and manage expectations from both ends which was great. He even came and met us at the venue hotel the day before for a coffee to sort out last minute stuff. He truly went above and beyond for us from start to finish, happily organising taking a video we decided we wanted very much at last minute; nothing seemed like too much trouble and was all achieved with a smile and good humour. Amazingly, we got our pictures with 2 weeks, considerably ahead of his proposed schedule, which was a great surprise. In something of a miracle, my wife likes almost all the pics shes in and my Mum and Dad are both smiling AND looking at the camera at the same time. The man is a genius!! Seriously though, he put everyone who hates having their picture taken at ease, took lots of candid shots through the day and we really couldnt have been any happier with the final result. Price isnt the driving factor when you hire a photographer for something as precious as wedding photos but to have the skill and dedication that Derek brings to the task at the price, hes definitely someone we cannot recommend highly enough. Thanks Derek. Youre a wee star.
