We had a wonderful experience with Phil Gorry as our wedding photographer. He was so patient with us and our guests and he captured some truly incredible moments. The vast collection of high-quality photographs he produced has allowed us to relive our special day over and over again and we cannot thank him enough.

Phil photographed our wedding at Boclair House in August 2022. We could not be happier with how the photos have turned out. He has managed to capture the day perfectly. Phil was so relaxed and unobtrusive - we barely noticed him throughout the day, but looking at the photos he was everywhere. Would highly recommend!

We chose Phil to take photographs for our wedding in October 2022 at the Bowfield hotel. As you do, we dreamed of a crisp autumn day and got far from that. It was probably one of the worst days of the year weather wise but even this wasnt enough to put Phil off. Even with all odds against him he still managed to capture the most beautiful pictures of me and my husband getting absolutely soaked in the meanwhile. He truly is the most passionate and dedicated guy. Every supplier who asked who our photographer was leading up to the wedding responded in the same way when we told them such a lovely guy and he lived up to that and more. He put everyone at ease and made everyone feel comfortable. The photographs he captured of our guests are also so special to us because we got to see the moments we missed and he captured the happiness and funny moments perfectly. I 100% recommend Phil!! Everyone loves our photos but not as much as us, we are over the moon and cant stop posting them all over social media!

I got in touch with Phil around September 2020 to inquire about being our wedding photographer after looking through the stunning gallery on his website. He was an absolute delight to deal with from the get go! He replied to my messages extremely quickly with such a positive attitude - it really made me feel at ease straight away. We had a quick phone call to get to know each other a little better and I instantly knew he was the photographer for us! Due to COVID restrictions, we were unable to meet in person before the big day so we opted for a video chat which I normally get really nervous about but there was absolutely no need and I felt relaxed as soon as we started talking. He asked lots of questions to make sure he knew exactly what I wanted from our wedding photos. Neither myself or my new husband are very good in front of the camera but Phil assured me that this wouldn't be an issue. I explained that I would love a few romantic shots of us together but mostly I wanted the day to feel as relaxed as possible with minimal group or staged photos to which he was totally up for so I knew we were on the same page. He made sure to ask if there were any key moments throughout the day that I would like captured which I thought was so lovely and personal! On the day, he couldn't have been any more accommodating, offering to grab anything we needed and being as helpful as possible. Even though we had never met in person, it was like I knew him and he was just another one of our guests which was lovely! My husband and I got ready together which was a first experience for him and he captured it just how I imagined. Going along with any ideas we had and getting excited about particular shots. He literally couldn't have done enough for the shots he got, especially when we were outside and he was sprinting across busy roads to get the perfect picture, haha! We got our sample gallery the day after the wedding and I was in tears looking through them with a huge smile on my face! They were amazing and more times than one, I gasped at how beautiful they were! Around 5 weeks after our wedding we got our full gallery. I cannot even explain how beautiful and amazing they were. Again, my jaw was sore from looking through them all because of the huge smile on my face and the tears started again! He captured the day EXACTLY as I imagined and pictured - they were absolutely perfect. We've had so many compliments from family and friends to say that you can see the love and happiness of the day pouring out of them. They couldn't be anymore perfect. My husband and I have already spoke about hiring Phil again to get some family photos of us and our 2 dogs. I wouldn't even think twice about recommending him and if he's available for your date then I would snap him up without a doubt! Amazing guy, amazing photos and we can't wait to work with him again! :)
