        Not worth 28 to play. 8 would be nearer the mark. Can't think of a good thing to say about the course. Even the members were trashing it. Receptionist very good 10/10.

        Booked as last game of a 3 day trip from England. Via Golfbreaks and all other aspects of trip were brilliant. Troon Darley was a skocker!! Where to start? Were told that we had to play off the red ( junior/ladies ) tees. Hmm. First hole ok but thereafter....fairways full of holes, each hole had at least 5 dog walkers on it, and worst of all, there was litter everywhere. Awful! In fairness, the greens were quite nice. After the first hole, nothing like the rest of the course, you have a long walk across road and underpass to the 2nd tee. See pic attached. We walked off after 5 holes. FIVE!! Grim. Do not play it.
