        Scotts is a firm favourite of mine and I have visited on many occasions, never to have been disappointed. I phoned this morning to make a booking but no tables were available - completely understandable. The lady on the phone told us that we were welcome to come along and have one of the high tables which are first come first served. We drove 40 mins to Troon and were delighted to see 2 vacant high tables available only to be told that these were booked. I completely understand that it is a busy bank holiday Monday and we did not book. That being said, it was disappointing that others were allowed to book these high tables when we were not given the option. Clearly one rule for some and different rules for others. There were a lot of empty tables too which was very strange!
