I took my 2 daughters to Troon and stayed in the Hotel. It was not long before it got closed and reopened as a retirement home. We had a fantastic time. It was one of our best holidays we had been on . What a lovely building with a beautiful beach across the road. There was a small town about 15min walk or bus stop out side hotel. The staff were lovely. The food was very tasty and a good choice of food throughout the week.I wonder how a member of staff who was pregnant at the time got on .She made us extra super. I would have loved to be able to take my grandkids to TROON BEACH and Stay at the Hotel.

I stayed here in 1967 when it was a hotel. One of my happiest childhood memories. Sad that the hotel closed but super happy it now takes care of the elderly. I plan to visit and reminisce this year.
